Mildmay International began work in Uganda in 1993, when we responded to requests made by the Ugandan Government to bring the expertise gained over 10 years working in HIV in the UK to a country desperately in need. Mildmay Uganda is part of our education and training programme, which includes facility and work-based training, and diploma programme and degree programmes validated by The University of Manchester. Mildmay Uganda is a member of the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) that promotes the standards and scope of HIV and AIDS training in the region. 1. Job title: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Directorate: Quality Assurance Reports to: Director Quality Assurance Job Summary: Monitor, evaluate and report on the organisational work processes, policies, procedures and programmes to ensure that the necessary set standards are met and Mildmay Uganda programmes effectively monitored and evaluated. The job holder provides the required specialist field team support.
Bachelor degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development studies with Masters Degree in Development studies or other relevant field. A post graduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation is essential. Must have 6 years' relevant work experience, with at least 3 years supervising Monitoring and Evaluation systems and activities with a track record of publications and conference presentations. Work experience in a health care setting is desirable.
